Jordan Calls in Iran's Envoy Over 73 Missile Incidents
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Fouad Al-Majali stated that Amman is demanding an immediate cessation of hostile strikes, full respect for the kingdom's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and strict compliance with international law and the principles of good neighborliness.
Al-Majali further warned that Jordan reserves the right to deploy all necessary measures to protect its citizens and defend its sovereign borders.
The diplomatic confrontation follows a tense morning in which the Interior Ministry confirmed 73 separate incidents involving falling objects and missile debris scattered across the country — the fallout of Iranian retaliatory strikes against Israeli and US military operations. Authorities confirmed no casualties were recorded.
